'By Our Own Hands' is a cinematic journey witnessing the profound resilience of cultural continuity. It explores the sacred practices and modern revitalizations that bridge generations within Indigenous communities, told through the intimate lens of sovereignty and memory.

The documentary is being created to honor the Indigenous Cultures Revival Project (ICRP) mission, capturing the essential dialogue between land and heritage. By centering Native voices, we ensure that the wisdom of the elders is preserved and amplified for the future.

Our vision is to provide a digital sanctuary where intergenerational knowledge flourishes. This film serves as both a historical record and a call to action, supporting Native-led revitalization efforts and reclaiming cultural narratives from a place of deep respect.

Antonio is a distinguished Oscar and Goya Award-winning cinematographer renowned for his evocative command of natural light in acclaimed works such as War Is Over!, Black Bread, and Mama. He utilizes his vast international experience to weave intricate cultural motifs into a raw and compelling visual tapestry. Deeply rooted in a multi-decade bond with Indigenous nations in British Columbia, Canada, his artistic mission also encompasses educational initiatives such as his 'Conscious Lighting' workshops and various community-based creative partnerships.

Producer

An award-winning producer, director, and founder of HasBeen Productions, NEER, and Kismet Artists whose striking visual voice has been featured at Cannes, Tribeca, and SXSW. He specializes in securing high-profile institutional partnerships and managing large-scale production logistics and talent.
